Rome, the capital, is the largest city. Some of the most famous attractions include the Vatican with the beautiful Sistine Chapel. Be aware, get to the Vatican early because even when the chapel opens it could be a four hour wait to get inside. The Colosseum is breath taking as well as the Spanish Steps. Trevi Fountain and ruins spread out throughout the city.
